FUNDRAISING EVENTS

 FUNd  & Frolic’s inaugural event is a girlfriends' wine and canapé  afternoon at Koi Zen Cellars, an Urban winery in the Carmel Mountain  Area.

100% of ticket sales went to fund a science lab for Vidya  Vanam, a school in rural India, run by the Bhuvana Foundation  (http://www.bhuvanafoundation.org;Tax ID: 26-2441061). The Bhuvana  Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the under-served and  disadvantaged children and families of India.
 

FUNd & Frolic's inaugural event was a huge success!

Your  tickets and donations will make it possible for Bhuvana Foundation to  equip Vidya Vanam's new science lab! All the fun you had will do a great  deal of good for some very special children who would not otherwise  have access to this education! 

We've totaled all funds from  ticket sales and donations from the FUNd & Frolic event, and  together we've raised $2646! This represents 80% of the total cost to  equip Vidya Vanam's science lab! With employer matching, we will reach  100% of our goal and fully fund equipping the science lab!!

We got together, had fun, and we equipped a science lab for the kids at Vidya Vanam!

On a beautiful Nashville Spring afternoon, 30 people gathered to raise funding and awareness for Vidya Vanam.

Food was catered by Chauhan Masala and Ale House.

$5000 was raised.

30 Committed philanthropists gathered for an afternoon of information, appetizers and wine.  Approximately $8,500 was raised for Bhuvana.

Over 20 participants and would-be chefs joined us for a virtual Italian-Based culinary class. Every participant received recipes, and hard to find ingredients shipped to their homes.    Along with the class, participants played trivia games and answered questions about Bhuvana Foundation.

Over 25 participants participated in a virtual Indian-Based culinary class.  Every participant received recipes, and hard to find ingredients shipped to their homes.  Dr. Sriram instructed participants on the fun and interesting facts regarding where the money they raised was being spent.
